Script broken - Support is stumped????

Received an email today from support that says they are at a standstill with my issue after 6 weeks.
So, I am pulling what I affectionately refer to as and 'Angela' and going public: I refuse to accept support's answer and need some help. Please.
On 8/27 - right after upgrade, we realized our custom script was now broken. The script is completely related to our pricing model, fires on save and we couldn't even save an order. Freak out.
After a small change to the script from support, we were at least able to save orders, fulfill and bill but . . .
