Alternative Date Range Type
I was very excited to hear about the new feature "Alternative Date Range Type" but I am having difficulty getting it to work correctly. Can someone help?
I have a comparative income statement which I would like to show this month, last month, this ytd and last ytd. When i use the alternative date range type of "Relative to Report Date" I don't get the intended results.
I am using the selected date range in the footer to determine the "this month". Then I am setting "this ytd" to relative to report date and this fiscal ytd but I get ytd thru the first date of my date range. For example if "this month" is 3/1/2010 - 3/31/2010, the ytd shows up as 1/1/2010 - 3/1/2010 instead of 1/1/2010 - 3/31/2010. Same type of issue for the last ytd. 1/1/2009 - 3/1/2009.
