Release process is a Joke NetSuite

I just looked at one of my more complex client's upgrade:
Release Preview 9/22 - 10/2
Upgrade 10/8 - 10/9

Significant release with UI completely changed. 11 days to review and 6 DAYS to prepare everyone in the company for the change, not to mention what if any workflow scripts may need tweaking or changing.

Is there a reason why the formerly "beta" now called "release preview" to squish around the issue, need to be only 6 DAYS apart? You leave companies no time to prepare, train, update or correct. This is hardly a best practice being followed here.
