Parents must have the same currency and subsidiary as their children - BIG PROBLEM

edited Dec 13, 2019 11:39PM in General 23 comments

Hello Everyone,

I am not sure if anyone else is facing this problem.  I will try to explain:

Entering into any customer record (existing, prospect, etc.) and you make any change (or just click SAVE) we are getting this error "Parents must have the same currency and subsidiary as their children.".  Please note, that I do have a defect for this # 206097.

The downside to this, which I discovered today, is I believe this may be related to the 'Canadian' version of Netsuite.  My reason for thinking this is today I had a customer we wanted to update which our sales team could not.  When playing around, the only way I was able to do anything to save this record was to change the 'CURRENCY' under the financial tab to CAD, which is our base currency. Note that I have NOT enabled the Multi currency feature as of yet, because I was told during the BETA that this was the cause.

Howdy, Stranger!
