New field in sales orders?

What on earth are "Commitment Confirmed" & "Order Priority" fields? These fields have appeared over the weekend without explanation as to how they should be used nor their function.

I have tried searching the help pages and they have not been documented.

Please would some one from Netsuite explain what these two fields do.
