Unit of Measure and Vendor Names

edited Dec 13, 2019 11:38PM in General

We are using the Unit Of Measure feature to identify how we order our drugs at our hospitals and clinics (ie. a single dose vial or a 10 dose vial, etc).  However, when the drug is ordered it has a different vendor name (code) for each Unit of Measure.  Has anyone come up with a way to have multiple vendor names for a Unit of Measure without having separate inventory items?  I look at this much like having multiple vendors for the same item with the ability to provide different vendor names.

I'm thinking we could script something but before going that route I thought I would ask all the experts on this forum.

Howdy, Stranger!
