NetSuite's Bold New Look in Release 2014.2
I just participated in the NetSuite web conference on NetSuite's Bold New Look in Release 2014.2. Thank you NetSuite for giving us that look into the changes this far in advance of release.
I have a concern though about what appears to be a terrible use of white space and how much more room it will take to display the same amount of data on virtually every page.
Better use of white space is a stated goal by NetSuite for this new user interface but from what I saw NS seems to have missed the mark here. In almost every case, there is more white space in and around text, input boxes, sublist lines, summary boxes, KPI lists, dashboard portlet content and virtually everything on the screen. This will result in considerably more vertical and perhaps horizontal scrolling required to see the same data as before. I saw comments in the Q&A panel that others share this concern.
