Can't remove "Manage Revenue Recognition" Button from transaction forms - workaround
As we've been preparing for this release, I've been making some changes to my transaction forms to prevent horizontal scroll bars for lower resolution monitors without using zoom.
One of my issues was a new button that was added in this release called "Manage Revenue Recognition". This button appears when items on the transaction have revenue recognition schedules associated with them. The combination of the button name being overly wordy and the new buttons being huge was pushing me way past the end of the available space and creating a horizontal scroll bar.
As it turns out, they implemented that feature and button without adding the ability to customize it on the transaction forms or through SuiteScript. I've got a couple of defects/enhancements that I've been fighting with support about. Since I doubt those will go anywhere before release and we have minimal need for that button to be there, I wanted to post my workaround in case anyone else was having a similar issue.
