Netsuite Recurring Billing discontinued by Netsuite

We have been advised that the Netsuite Recurring Billing module has been discontinued and withdrawn from sale by Netsuite. Has anyone heard anything similar or is anyone a customer currently user the product who know why this would be the case?

Also, does anyone know of a good, well integrated alternative?
