End of Day count on packages shipped

We have been using a custom saved search to count the number of tracking numbers created in a day to give to the UPS driver at pickup.  Either this never worked right and we didn't notice or it started to not work recently. 
Criteria has:
Main Line - True
Tracking number - contains 1
Date Created - is within today

Results has:
*
Date
Tracking Numbers -  Count

So far today we have shipped 3 boxes (fulfilling 2 SOs), and the results are showing only 2.

Anyone have a better way of getting this info?
