Handling not calculated on service items
We are using a shipping item which adds 1.2% of the total to UPS freight charges. However, we have learned that the total used by the calculation only includes tangible items - no service items. Support has suggested a workaround using an "other charge", but this adds a line item to the invoice, calling attention to the charge. We could make our service items inventory items, but then what are service items for? Also, we can't change the item type after using it on previous orders. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what did you do?
