How to make drop ship items out of stock
Hi,
We have non-inventory items that we drop ship.
Occasionally our drop-ship vendor runs out of stock.
In those cases I would like the item to continue to appear in our web store, but not allow customers to order, and to display an out of stock message.
Under Set Up / Web Site / Set Up Web Site / Shopping, I:
- set Web Store Out Of Stock Items to: Disallow back orders but display out-of-stock message
- cleared Drop Ship/Special Order items are always in stock
Now, how do I indicate that a particular non-inventory drop ship item is out-of stock?
I've looked everywhere on the Item record, and don't find anything that looks right.
