New feature in v2008.2 - Weight field in packages settings

We found a new feature in v2008.2, but it seems to be a completely useless as designed.  I was excited about it until the NS rep told me what it did.

If you go to set-up a new package, it now has....

Name.......Length.......Width.......Height.......Weight.......Maximum Items

So, your data might be...

Name.............Length.......Width.......Height.......Weight.......Maximum Items
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Widget Box.......12.............12...........12....................................20

So, I called about the weight field ...just to confirm that they wanted the weight of the cardboard container.  The NS rep said that the weight is for the container and all of the items packed inside.
