Freight Matrix
I've set up a freight matrix, to calculate the cost incurred to our company from external freight companies to ship to our customers. We include this cost in our sell price, and do not oncharge, but we like to know where the costs come from.
From a technical persepctive, the freight matrix associate with our sending location (via the location field on the transaction). However, I can't seem to use the customer's delivery address to complete the matrix, as I am unable to customize the address to include my "destination region" component of the matrix.
If our customer had only one delivery address, I'd be able to add a custom field to the customer record, and link this to the matrix, and complete the source = source, and destination = destination, therefore freight = $ matrix.
