Second Fulfillment email sent 2 1/2 years later?
Has anyone experienced this?
First fulfillment was 6/2008. Order Billed. Order Paid. Done.
We get a call from the customer today that we're sending him a shipment he did not order. Sure enuf, there is a SECOND fufillment EMAIL sent out - same SO number, same UPS tracking number. There is NO fulfillment record other than the first one in 2008.
Checked with UPS and there is something that DID get picked up here and is on the way to this customer!
I am filing a case - but how in the heck do we determine how this happened and trap it??
