Shipping Cost on Item Fulfillment Record Impacts Invoice/Cash Sale Shipping Cost
We just completed the process of writing custom scripts to import our actual shipping costs into Netsuite. We are using the "Shipping Cost" field on the item fulfillment record to store this actual cost data. Today our accounting department noticed the following incorrect behavior:
note: this only becomes a problem for us if our accounting department bills a sales order after fulfillment has already occured (common during COD)
example situation:
* sales order value of $100.00 and shipping of $10.00 was agreed to by the customer.
* warehouse fulfills the order prior to billing
* initially the item fulfillment record displays the value of $10.00 for shipping cost
