"Actual Date Shipped" field on fulfillments - Packages tab?

edited Nov 25, 2019 10:44AM in Accounting / ERP 1 comment

Greetings,

When we receive tracking information from our Drop ship vendors, we enter that in the "packages tab" area of the fulfillment record..which works just groovy.

We need to be able to enter the "actual ship date" in that record as well...can I add a custom column to the packages tab?  If so, how?

I know several people use the actual fulfillment date as the "shipped" date, but it auto-populates with the date the fulfillment is created...which is almost never the actual ship date for us.

Where does everyone put their actual ship date?  We can't put it on the Sales Order (multiple fulfillments to a single sales order), and I would think it would be silly to put part of the shipping data on the fulfillment, and part on the PO...which would force the admin receiving the tracking info to open up two documents to key in data.

Howdy, Stranger!
