How to avoid multiple POs to a drop-ship vendor when kits involved
Hi,
I've seen threads that relate to this issue, but couldn't find one about this specifically:
We have some drop-ship items that are sold both as part of a kit and as separate line items. If a web customer orders a kit that contains item X, and also orders item X as a separate line item, then two POs are generated to the drop-ship vendor, and they have a heck of a time noticing that they need consolidating and need shipping together. This problem occurs regardless of whether we use inventory items marked as "drop-ship", or non-inventory items for resale.
