Break apart an Assembly Item

Hi,

Does NetSuite have the ability to break apart an assembly item after it has been received?

Here is my scenario:

1)  I have a few components
2)  I create an assembly item based on the components
3)  Purchase the assembly item from the vendor
4)  Receive the assembly item

Can I then break it apart (disassemble) if needed?
