Re-Commit An Item Received On A Special Order PO

edited Nov 25, 2019 10:43AM in Accounting / ERP 3 comments

[FONT=inherit]I have a huge problem regarding re-committing an item that was received via a special order po. If you remove serial # from a sales order in this case, the item remains committed and cannot be re-committed to any other order. We are a big box retailer and 90% of our po's are created as special orders. So if a customer cancels their 10,000 Viking range i cannot re-sell through NetSuite. Crazy!!!!

We are set to go live in February and have had a case open with NetSuite for 2 months. They have flip-flopped on this several times vacillating between enhancement and defect. Most recently they categorized this as a defect and i had it escalated several times. The defect referenced the fact that if you use advanced bin management re-committing is possible.

Howdy, Stranger!
