Promotion Codes attached to saleOrders
We decided we want to include promotion codes to our customers. So we set up a system on our end to handle the internal ids of the promo codes. When the customer comes into their cart they can add a promo code, the system then checks for the code entered and finds out if it's a live code and the internal id to send to NS. We attach it to the sales order's fields as "promoCode" like set in the XML scheme in the docs.
We receive no error but also the salesOrder does not apply the code. I've checked to make sure that the script is indeed passing the "promoCode" field to NS and it is. Such as:
