Limit return fields
Hey all,
So I'm a nooby when it comes to dealing with the netsuite api, but I'm wondering if there is a way to limit what gets sent over the wire. Their API seems to be slow, so I'm trying to limit the data that's getting handed back and forth.
for example:
$searchQuery = new nsComplexObject("CustomerSearchBasic");
$searchQuery->setFields(array(
'email' => array(
'operator' => 'is',
'searchValue' => "email"
)
));
$customer = $nsc->search($searchQuery);
I'd like to be able to just get back the internalId of the record if it exists.
any help would be appreciated!
