Please note that on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 8:00 PM Pacific time, our Case Management System will undergo a scheduled maintenance for approximately 4 hours. During this time, case creation via SuiteAnswers will be unavailable and inbound calls will be routed to Customer Service.
Best practice for case management from external web site
We are running an ecommerce web shop that is separate from NetSuite, but we use NetSuite for accounting. Orders from the web shop and entered into our NetSuite account via web services.
We would like to provide an interface for customers to see the case history associated with each order, and to be able to add new case messages from our external web site. Ideally customers would be able to see all case messages associated with the order, and would be able to submit new messages including attached files.
Can we provide all of this functionality using native NetSuite forms displayed on the external site in an iframe? Or is this problem best tackled with web services?
