Any documentation on Netsuite web services?

Is there any good documentation on Netsuite's web services?  I've been trying to do simple web service calls but haven't been successfully retrieve any results through the web services.

All I am trying to do is use web services to retrieve saved searches and display the results on our intranet site.  I have no success in retrieving a single record in the result and I can't seem to find any documentation on Netsuite's web services at all.

Help?  Thanks!
