URL component can't be used to fix broken links
It was discussed that one could use the "URL component" feature in v11 to fix broken links.  I replaced a item on our site with a NEW item and I wanted to make the NEW item's URL match the old replaced item.
The old item was at...
www.ourdomain.com/s.nl/it.A/id.2059/.f?sc=2&category=248
On the NEW item, I tried to give it a "URL component" of
"s.nl/it.A/id.2059/.f?sc=2&category=248"
The system removes the "/" and therefore makes it impossible to use the URL component to fix broken links.  One could use it to fix a broken link for a product that also used URL components for it's URL ....but not for a "regular" NS item.
