Solutions for multiple product images

Hi There,
I need to be able to show multiple images for each product on my product detail pages (like newegg.com, for example).  I'd be interested to know what solutions other people have come up with.  I'm hoping to come up with a flexible solution that can handle an arbitrary number of images per item, and makes it not too hard to manage all these image.  I have fewer than 100 items, but several hundred images can still be a pain to manage.  Does V11 offer anything to help with this?
