4k limit on web text/code -- will this change any time soon?
Are there any imminent plans (or has it even been done anywhere) to increase the 4k character limit on Information Item Descriptions fields etc. for NS generated websites?
I understood this restriction related to an issue with indexing the underlying older Oracle database versions to make the site searchable, but I note that Text Area fields in custom records are searchable with 64k characters.
With content, 4k is nothing, and the workaround I use is with item templates where the limit is much higher (64k? 100k?) but these are not indexed/searchable within an NS-generated website and complicate site management, so this would be a big/quick improvement for us.
