Pull details from customer custom form on website to confirmation page for affiliate

Hello,

I just wanted to know if anyone has setup an information item based on an online customer form and then pulled one of the fields to the next page (in the workflow).

We are wanting to use a 3rd party affilaite program and need to pull customer details from a free information guide. That way if the customer buys a product from the guide we can track them back to the affiliate for offline sales.

Whenever we put a code on the confirmation page it errors,
