Problems with out of stock items being sold
We have our preferences set so that "webstore items out of stock" are "disallow back orders but display out-of-stock message."
It's been working just fine for a year now, but today I got an order for an item we should have sold out on yesterday. The system has the right amount in inventory (1), and it now shows 1 backordered item, which it shouldn't. And it shouldn't have sold the item to today's customer.
Frustrating, embarrassing, and a waste of my time.
