Kit/Packages don't work with units of measure

I should have learnt my lesson by now but I assumed kit/packages would work ok. We have just finished adverts costing about £8K and they are going out to 250,000 people, all going live in a week and the 'bad design bug' they have is already logged as an enhancement?!!!! (Apparently at low priority).

When you add members to a package, it defaults to the units of measure selected for stock or purchasing and not the sale unit.

How pointless is that??

It's under enhancement 69066. However, it should be changed to an issue.

Strangely, if a coder at netsuite designs something badly then anything different to the bad design is an enhancement - Which of course assumes the coder thought it through, which he clearly didn't in this case (as well as the people who signed it off).
