Fully Automatic Sales Order Processing for Downloadable Products

edited Mar 27, 2007 10:30PM in Web Site / E-Commerce 6 comments

Hi

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to set up seamless, fully automated sales order processing for our downloadable e-products?

We are selling pdf and mp3 files via our netsuite ecommerce website. We use Wordlpay to process the payments.

Currently, I can only get an order to automatically authorise a credit card transaction. I can make the downloadable item immediately available, so the customer can get instant access to it.

I have managed to skip the necessity to authorise the sales order (it goes straight to the fulfillment queue). However, I still have to go and manually fulfill and bill the sales order and then process the credit card payment. Surely it must be possible & desirable to fully automate this and only have to deal with any exceptions that fail credit card authorisation.

Howdy, Stranger!
