Customising the Customer Centre

Hi

I would like to greatly simplify the UI for the Customer Centre.

Does anyone know if it is possible to remove the Quick Search box on the left hand side of the Customer Centre and also to remove the long (in our case) list of tabs, categories and items on the right hand side?
