Item w/ both inventory and drop-ship attributes
Has anyone found an effective solution to this problem? thanks in advance.
Most of our sales are seasonal in nature (apparel) with no reorder ability so we set our webstore setting to: remove out-of-stock items from webstore. This prevents customers from ordering once we've sold out of a certian size or design. For some other items, we carry limited inventory in our retail store to help sell the product but usually create a drop-ship PO to fulfill a sales order. For instance, there's an item that has 5 designs - we carry inventory on 2 of them but offer all 5 for sale in our retail store and online.
