Wrong colours on mandatory fields on online forms

Hi

I am experiencing a weird thing on my online regsitration forms.

On my PC only (no on eelses seems to be affected), when a form is drawn on our web site, it appears correctly with a light yellow colour on mandatory fields. Then the form is redrawn/refreshed and certain fields appear in a darker yellow. This looks odd and is confusing (in terms of which fields are mandatory).

It is not only mandatory fields that are doing this. It is not all fields on the form. It is only happening in IE6 not in Firefox.

Any ideas what is causing it and how to stop it?
