Passing Currency to the Shopping Basket from a Custom HTML Form

Hi

I want to be able to pass currency to the shopping cart from a custom HTML form.

I have tried adding the select currency HTML code (from an item page on our web site) to the custom HTML (see below). I have also tried to add Currency to the Online Customer form. In both cases, I am not sure how to pass this as a parameter or variable in a redirected URL to the shopping cart (I am not very familiar with HTML). Yet I know this can be done if you type the URL into a browser.

Can someone help me please?
