Web Site Content Manager in v2007

I got excited when I saw the "Web Site Content Manager" title in the pull-downs of the 2007beta.  Then I clicked on it and realized ...just more of the same.  They made a combined hierarchy of "list>category" and "list>item" and made it browse while always in "edit mode".

NS, that is better than what you had, but we need these things and have for years...

Item/Category Layout ... when will we be able to set image size restraints in the Item/Category LAYOUTs and NOT just GLOBALLY?

Does NS ever plan on making a feature where we can browse a copy of our REAL web store while being shown a list of dynamic "editing links" at the bottom of the window?  The editing buttons may say things like "edit this category", "edit this tab", "edit this layout".  Then we could browse our site for problems and INSTANTLY address issues that we see without switch back to NS and searching around to find the right control panel to make the needed changes!!  Yahoo has had this indispensable feature when I started with them way back in 2000 and
