SECPay customers - 3D Secure update

SECPay has sent letters to all their UK customers saying that webstore orders that do not support 3D Secure on July 1st will not be able to process Switch and Maestro card payments. 

NetSuite will not have 3D Secure available on our webstores until our September/October release.  This means you may need to turn off acceptance of Switch and Maestro cards for the 3 month window (July - September).

However, SECPay has informed us that it is highly unlikely that they will decline Maestro transactions that do not support 3D Secure.  Below is a communication we received from SECPay:

"At present the official line from most acquiring banks is that Merchants must support 3Dsecure by July 1st - they have yet to confirm whether or not they will decline Maestro transactions submitted without 3DSecure authentication and it is highly unlikely they will given the volume of such transactions. The assumption is that the initial focus will be on the old Switch logo being removed and replaced with the Maestro one on merchant’s websites which is a much simpler change. I can't guarantee this however hence our communication to merchants (merchants should also be receiving similar communications from their banks
