E-Commerce Challenges for Matrix Items
We sell one of a kind fashion products online. We purchase in several size and color combinations, and once sold out we do not reorder. We completely change stock each season. As we sell out of an item we have the problem of matrix item options still displaying all sizes and colors and the shopper only finding out that their combination is out of stock when they go to the shopping cart.
1) Is it possible to somehow show the current inventory of a matrix item in the item template? If not then
2) Is it possible to setup our items as individual inventory items, but display them in a list on the web site item template. So in other words to display them almost like a matrix item,
