Linking to online form on website
Hi,
We are trying to link to an online form for a custom record on our web site. We want the custom record to be linked to the customer's client record and so we have a "Client Name" field that contains the customer for whom the record relates. If the custom record is created through the main NetSuite UI this works fine, and the custom record appears in the client record as we have configured. We want the same to occur when the form is filled in via the web site.
The best way to achieve this appears to be to link to the online form using the <%=getOnlineFormURL(ID)%> tag. This should mean that customer data gets passed into the form according to the help documentation.
