Attribute Tags for Templates - trying to display info from a custom field

I have setup a template website.  I am trying to display some information in the Store Description & Store Detailed Description fields using a tag for a custom field.  I am following the information as indicated on page 152 and 153 of the Website manual, however I keep getting errors.

These are the formats according to the instructions.  I have changed the field names to my "actual" custom field name - when I have tried it on my site.  What am I doing wrong?
