Sending a copy of completed sales order to customer automatically?

Folks,

As far as I can tell, the default workflow for a credit card order placed on either of our two web stores is:

1. Customer places order
2. Order is approved
3. Order is fulfilled to shipped status (pick, pack, ship)
4. Cash sale is billed

By default, the emails that the customer receives in steps 1, 2 and 3 (when enabled) are relatively plain notifications. We'd really like the customer to receive a nice formal copy of their completed order. If there's a way to do this, I'm missing it.

If one looks at the Sales Order after step 3 is complete, it looks great ... it has been created using the correct Sales Order form (we have a different one for each web store) and the tracking number has been inserted etc. Wouldn't it be nice if the customer could get a copy of that automatically??
