Show Stock availability on Matrix Items
I've just solved something for my site and am happy with it, so I thought I'd share it.
As you may be aware, netsuite can display whether an item is in stock or not. If your qty available is zero, then the user will not be able to add the item to cart. You'd think the same thing would work for matrix items as well, but as far as I can tell it doesn't. The dropdown list allows you to select any matrix item whether the qty avail is greater than 0 or not. Then, when you get to the cart you get the message saying that the matrix item is not available, please remove it. I'm pretty
