View Cart - redirecting to home page?

Hi.  Brand spanking new to NS - I'm in the process of skinning our website (NS hosted) while our inventory/accounting people implement the rest of the guts.  So far its going swimmingly, for the most part

This is probably a very stupid question - but our "Cart Summary" portlet's "View Cart" button redirects right back to the home page when clicked.

I'm guessing there's a very simple answer to why this is happening.  Probably a feature or checkbox somewhere in the maze of options that needs to be checked?  Just wondering if anyone can enlighten me.
