Roles
Is it me or are the standard roles completely useless for ecommerce.
We have had initially give virtually everyone an admin role and now spend hours building our own centre and a bunch of roles out of those.
It seems that all standard roles are created for an organisation B2B that gathers leads from a website/email lists and converts them to sales by a sales team. This leaves the website roles and marketing roles with lots of things they cannot reach that a B2C ecommerce company would need.
Also there is no role for a Buyer? I have never met a retail organisation that does not have a specific role for a buyer. In the end we tried hacking one from the warehouse manager and accounts payable. But eventually ended up with another person on the admin role.
