Please consider voting for enhancement request 82070. This would allow related items to be added via a CSV import or Web Services.
Our business is probably not much different than many others in that we make a good amount of profit by selling related items or accessories that go with items. We have too many items to manually add all the accessories for each item so the ability to add Related Items via CSV is very important.
There had been several different requests in NetSuite that have been consolidated in request 82070.
As a company that sells our products over the internet, maximizing the profitability of each transaction is important. Without the profit of selling related items/accessories we ultimately make decisions on advertising and marketing that we would normally do, but ultimately do not because of the inability to sell accessories and related items.
