Lead to Customer not Converting.....?
Hi there,
We currently import a series of Lead records into our instance of NetSuite. - These are people interested in a certain product on our ecommerce website. They have given us their firstname, lastname and email address and this is stored in the lead record.
Now let's say that one of the leads comes to the ecommerce website to buy the product using the NetSuite hosted shopping cart functionality. What happens is, they register again -> another lead record is created, then when the purchase is complete the record becomes a customer. But what we are left with in our system is a duplicate: the lead record we originally imported AND the customer record created in the checkout process.
