getCurrentAttribute Questions in Multistore

Hi,

Its been while since I posted anything, so here goes:

Does anyone know why the following would work fine in a Netsuite hosted web page:

<%=getCurrentAttribute('customer','entityID','')%></a>

But the following doesn't bring back any values at all:

<%=getCurrentAttribute('customer','overduebalance','')%></a>
<%=getCurrentAttribute('customer','balance','')%></a>

I'm not getting any errors the values are just blank, the default values work if I enter them and the customer has values for each field call. Very strange and would greatly appreciate anyone views on this behaviour?
