Get Attribute not working

Not sure if this is my mistake or a bug, but maybe someone can help me.  I am trying to create a link on an item page to another item using the getattribute tag.  My code is:

<a href="<%=getAttribute('item','44952','storeURL')%>" >
Adjustable Roof Mount</a>-<%=getAttribute('item',44952,'salesPriceHTML')%>

I get a dynamic processing error, however - the salespricehtml tag does return the sales price of the item that I want it to - just the link doesn't work.  Maybe it's my syntax - i just dont know
