3rd Party Hosting

We are in the midst of a site redesign and have become pretty dissatisfied with the irresponsible level of interference NetSuite's system provides for layout.

I have been reading the help file regarding the different methods of hosting a site remotely while still using the back-end database for the catalog of items for sale.

Is anyone else doing this currently?  If so, are you using any content management systems?

The help document specifies that scripts are provided for integrating the catalog with the 3rd party site.  Does anyone know if these scripts also interfere with layout?
