Drop Down Menu

Hello, has anyone came across this problem? I was trying to add some drop downs for the side navigation. Everything works fine on the homepage. Its not until the login page, where http becomes https, that I get a javascript error. I'm not sure why I'm keep getting that popup javascript error. I suspect the "<script language="JavaScript1.2">mmLoadMenus();</script>" is causing that error.But I  need this script for the drop down to work, but it seems I cannot place this anywhere on the page when I login. Can anyone help with this?
